August 2 WSET Foundation Course - 1 Day Intensive This qualification is an introduction to wine and aims to provide basic product knowledge and skills in the service of wine. The qualification introduces candidates to:

 

* The main styles of wine

* The WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting

* The characteristics of the classic grape varieties

* The matching of wine and food

* Service of wine

* BC Wines

LISA BROKOP!  Canadian country music sensation, Lisa Brokop, will be performing in the Tinhorn Creek outdoor amphitheatre on Saturday, September 13th.  Tickets are limited to this unique opportunity to see one of Canada's Country Music stars perform in the vineyard.

Festival of the Grape - There's much more than wine at the Oliver Festival of the Grape. Wine tasting, face painting, live entertainment, food vendors, trade show, games and of course... the Grape Stomp!  Oliver's Festival of the Grape is rapidly becoming known as a great, all-day FAMILY event! This annual family event, opened by a special ceremonial "blessing of the harvest", is held at the Oliver Community park alongside the Okanagan River.
