Seaside Wine Walk.  The Seaside Downtown Development Association invites you to their bi-annual Wine Walk. Oregon wineries pour samples of their best wines hosted by downtown Seaside businesses.  Each Wine Walk brings hundreds of people to the downtown area for an afternoon and evening of great wines, great food and of course, great fun!

Participation is easy, purchase the required wine glass for $10 and receive a free bracelet (minimum age of 21). Follow the provided maps, visit participating businesses, enjoy live music, sample hors d'oeuvres and try the wine. Uncorked Wine Auction.  More than 400 wine lovers will gather at the stunning Zenith Vineyard event facility to raise wine glasses and their bids on behalf of children at risk of abuse.  Presented by Bonaventure Senior Living, the 5th Annual Uncorked Wine Auction is the only one of its kind in the Willamette Valley, featuring sought-after wines from top producers with unique travel and culinary opportunities.

Tickets to the event include a winemakers’ reception with stellar local producers providing samples of their wine while talented Northwest chefs present samples of their fare.  A gourmet multi-course dinner from Vibrant Table follows, pairing critically acclaimed wines during the live auction.  Afterwards, celebrate in the new Uncorked Lounge with live entertainment. 5th annual Fruit Loop Wine Celebration.  The Hood River County Fruit Loop has long been known for world-famous tree fruit, but it also has a quickly growing reputation for quality wine grapes and award-winning wines.  There are also delicious specialty wines using fruit and berries. 

Wine lovers are invited to meet the winemakers, discuss their art, and taste their best.  Tour vineyards and wineries, relax in beautiful tasting rooms, and enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the Hood River Valley.  Take advantage of special pricing and enjoy tasty treats during the Wine Celebration.  Find wonderful products and take part in fun activities at farms all along the Fruit Loop.

Hood River Hops Fest.  On the last Saturday of September, Hood River County Chamber of Commerce hosts a beer lover’s dream when fresh-hopped brews from more than two dozen Hood River County and Northwest craft brewers are on tap.  In addition to great microbrews, enjoy wines selected from Gorge vineyards, local culinary food, arts and crafts vendors from the Northwest, a children’s play area, fun contests, and a day-long lineup of live music guarantees fun for the whole family.  Children are welcome throughout the afternoon until 6pm afterward the venue is open to adults only until closing.

Held in a special street pavilion in the heart of downtown Hood River, admission includes a commemorative stein.  Tasting tokens are sold for a nominal price with proceeds supporting the programs of the Hood River County Chamber of Commerce.
