ˇSalud!
Oregon's Premier Pinot Noir Auction -
This outstanding two-day event is a unique opportunity for
Pinot Noir enthusiasts to taste Oregon’s top wines, meet the
winemakers and preview the 2007 vintage.
Guests can bid on Pinot Noirs created especially for ˇSalud!
when vintners from 42 invited wineries pour pre-release
samples of their special wines at Friday’s exciting Big
Board auction at Domaine Drouhin Oregon.
ˇSalud! provides healthcare outreach services
for seasonal vineyard workers and their families. Since this
mobile workforce rarely qualifies for health insurance
plans, they are unable to receive benefits. To fill this
void, a dedicated group of Oregon vintners and volunteers
associated with Tuality Healthcare Foundation created a
bi-lingual, bi-cultural service calling it ˇSalud!, for the
traditional Spanish toast “to your health.”

3rd Annual Northwest Food
and Wine Festival - A celebration of wine and food
created for the pleasure of wine lovers and gourmet food
enthusiasts and benefitting Portland's Camp Fire USA.
The
festival kicks off with the
Grand
Wine Tasting event on the
main floor of the Blazers Rose Quarter Complex.
Guests can expect a floor
filled with more than 600 wines and gourmet food tastes
from 50 restaurants. Wines and restaurants are

with pairings. Whether enjoying the raw oysters
and wonderful seafood bar, the chocolate fountains with
fresh strawberries, or the Deep Water Grill, featuring

chefs, all will appreciate the
epicurean atmosphere. Certified sommeliers and
chefs will be available to answer questions about wines
and their establishments; industry booths of gourmet
food, wine and culinary accoutrements will introduce
their brand or product to attendees;
two music areas adjacent to the floor -
the "Wine Down Bar" and the "Piano Bar" - will offer
live music and a place to relax or enjoy a
cup of coffee. Check out the details of additional
events, such as a silent auction and an optional "Parade
of Ports," and ticket information on the website:
