Canines Uncorked.   The one-of-a-kind Canines Uncorked event offers a day of complimentary wine tastings and dog-friendly activities at participating North Willamette wineries.  A “License to Taste” Passport and Wine Tour Guide can be purchased in advance from the Oregon Humane Society with 100% of proceeds to benefit the animals at Oregon Humane Society.  The Passport provides information about each winery and the special doggie activities taking place. Led by owner, Paul Durant, this is a rare opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at the family’s extensive vineyards, unique olive grove and state of the art olive mill.  The tour will offer a history about the family’s 40 years of farming in the Dundee Hills, a tour of the olive mill & tastings of our award-winning olive oils.  Next, the tour will head into the vineyard and explore the journey from grape to glass.  Amongst the vines, tastings from the family’s estate wines will be shared.

The tour will conclude with an al fresco gourmet lunch catered by Community Plate which showcases their distinctive Oregon Olive Mill extra virgin olive oils and Durant Vineyards estate wines in a private and secluded area of the vineyard.  Please wear appropriate footwear/clothing for outdoor hiking. Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon.  The Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon is truly a hidden gem, offering an experience unique to any of its sister events in the series.  Hosted in Yamhill County in the heart of the Willamette Valley, participants rave about the small-town charm, incredible sunrise views, scenic course, great wines, and post-race Wine & Music Festival. 

Less than an hour from Portland, this thriving wine region is a favorite of Pinot Noir lovers and romantics who desire a less hectic vacation experience.  Activities are planned all weekend long over Labor Day weekend, including the race expo held at the magnificent Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville.  If you aren’t already a resident or frequent visitor, you’ll be sure to fall in love with the area and this race.  Bring your family and friends and plan to stay and play!

Oregon Grape Stomp Championship.  Celebrate the beginning of Harvest with the Willamette Valley Vintners and their annual Oregon Grape Stomp Championship and Harvest Celebration.  Their most anticipated event of the year attracts visitors from all over the country to come compete, in teams of two (Stomper & Swabbie), for the title and earn a trip to Santa Rosa, California for the World Grape Stomp Championships.  Enjoy live music on the lawn each day from 12-5 pm.

Get in the spirit!  Come dressed up in costumes or team uniforms and compete for “best dressed” award prizes.  This event is fun for the whole family. Kids are invited to participate in the daily Kids Stomp for just $5.  Admission is $10 and includes tasting of our fine wines from our Tasting Room and live music.  Upgrade to the Cellar Pass for $5 (complimentary to Wine Club Members) to taste exclusive library wines.  The Winery Chef will be serving up food pairings for an additional cost.  There is also a $10 fee per team to stomp.

Seaside Downtown Wine Walk.  The Seaside Downtown Development Association invites Oregon wineries to come to Seaside and set up inside downtown businesses pouring samples of their best wines for the public.  They set up three different locations selling their commemorative wine glasses and check ID's.  The glasses are required and are sold for $10 each, the ID bracelets are free (if you're over 21)!  Participants are given maps indicating in which business each winery is located then the fun begins!  The wineries are allowed to sell unopened bottles, so if you find a new favorite you can take a bottle home with you! 

Most of the wineries charge a small tasting fee, making it an inexpensive way to experience new wines and check out what downtown Seaside has to offer.  Some locations offer live music, and it's a great time for browsing the stores and maybe finding a gift for that special someone or a wonderful souvenir for yourself!  For additional information call 503-717-1914.
