Savor Cannon Beach Festival. With a focus on Northwest wines and regional cuisine, the Savor Cannon Beach festival offers a four-day lineup of wine, culinary and arts in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful vacation destinations. Festival events focus on specific themes that showcase the bounty of Northwest wine and cuisine while restaurants, galleries and shops add a weekend full of tastings, special dinners and cultural events. The highlight of the festival is the Savor Cannon Beach Wine Walk on Saturday featuring approximately 40 Northwest wineries pouring tastings at Cannon Beach art galleries, restaurants and retail shops, all within easy walking distance in this compact beach community. Many Cannon Beach businesses also participate in a Tasting Tour featuring free or low cost tastings ranging from chocolates and olive oils to specialty salts and locally-made brews and spirits. JPR Wine Tasting at Ashland Springs Hotel. Jefferson Public Radio presents the 35th Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction at Ashland Springs Hotel. This year’s event features the same wealth of wine to taste with over 40 regional wineries gathering to pour for over 400 guests. The evening also offers samples of some of the region's best culinary creations from a diverse group of restaurants and caterers. The musical guests this year will be Eight Dollar Mountain and Grant Ruiz and Dan Fellman. Pear A Fare. The fertile Rogue Valley produces a palette of exceptional flavors for the table. The Pear A Fare events celebrate the unique flavors of the Rogue Valley, recognizing outstanding chefs, artisan food, while supporting education and training to continue a tradition of excellence in the vineyards, orchards, and kitchens of the Rogue Valley.

Vineyards, breweries, distillers, local artisan food makers will be under the festival canopy serving tastes, and selling products. Tasting glasses and tickets to sample the flavors will be for sale at the Pear A Fare entrance. Vendors will also be selling wine, beer, spirits, coffee, and other local drinks by the glass. Artisan food makers will have a wide variety of products for sale as well as samples available. Entrance fee is $5 (includes 5 food taste tickets). Kids 5 and under are free.

Tues Aug 22 through Sun Aug 28 The Oregon Wine Experience at Bigham Knoll.  One of Oregon's biggest wine and culinary celebrations, this week-long event features Oregon wines, culinary creations, classes, entertainment and lots of fun. Over the course of seven days, guests have the opportunity to explore, learn and indulge in all the beauty and bounty that Southern Oregon offers.  More than 65 Oregon wineries will participate in this year's Oregon Wine Experience.
