Vine Vault Friday at McKinley Springs.  Join McKinley Springs as they break into the vault and open a limited production Library Wine (award winning, 100% Estate Grown in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA).  Visit with the grower, winemaker and cellar staff.  They will treat you with the stories of how their wine develops from grape to glass.  The McKinley Springs Tasting Room wine list showcases several uncommon stand-alone varietals from crisp Chenin Blanc to inky Petit Verdot.  Event fee is $5.  For additional information call 509-786-0004. Art of Life Festival (ALF).  Tucannon Cellars will be hosting a group of over 20 local artists performing LIVE painting as a form of visual performance art.  They have chosen a panoramic picture that we will segment into twenty individual pieces, the artists will then each get a piece to replicate on canvas, prominently displayed for you to speculate while they create.  Once all artists are finished they will line them up to recreate the original panoramic.

To keep you entertained they are also displaying an art gallery and several unique vendors for you to peruse.  They are also serving mouthwatering wood fired pizzas, award winning wine and live music by Dan McCool from 6 – 8 pm.  There will be a $10 cover charge for this event. The fee includes a free tasting of available wines, a light appetizer, as well as admittance into a raffle for Dust Devil tickets and other various prizes.  For more information call 509-545-9588.

Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard Tour & Hike (Red Mountain).   Meet the 2014 vintage in its infancy and follow it to harvest with guided walks through Terra Blanca’s estate vineyards.  The guided walk will showcase how grapes progress from vine to bottle.  Go behind-the-scenes to see the estate vineyard and learn about the barrel caves – the oldest and largest caves in Washington.  Tour content changes from season to season and groups are limited to 16 people per tour.  Tours cost $15, please call 509-588-6082 ext. 104 or email events@terrablanca.com for reservations. "Get Dirty!" Winemaker Lunch & Blending Competition.  Join Alexandria Nicole Cellars for an unforgettable afternoon of wine and food in the vineyard.  This small group setting provides the perfect backdrop for wine enthusiasts allowing for a hands on experience.  Taste through some of their most recently awarded wines and get a chance to try your hand at blending your own masterpiece.  Enjoy the grilling talents of their wine making and vineyard team. Guests of this lighthearted lunch will get to vote on ANC's very own "Top Chef" all while enjoying a BBQ lunch at the beautiful Estate at Destiny Ridge.

After lunch you are invited to join in an afternoon of wine blending with Jarrod and Matt.  Try your hand at blending the next vintage of our Members Only blend.  The Blending Competition is held annually to produce this exclusive Wine Club only wine.  You could be the next blending champion! Winners name will be listed on the bottle along with our winemakers and receive a case of your creation once it is bottled.

Harvest Festival with Alexandria Nicole Cellars at Destiny Ridge.  If you like wine and food; fun you will love it. From the time guests arrive to the time the buses pull out this action packed evening is one that will leave you filled with a love for all things wine.  Oh yes, and come prepared to dance. No better way than to ring in the season than on the dance floor.

This is Alexandria Nicole Cellars’ largest event of the year and one that you will not want to miss as they will all be dressed in their best 80’s hair band attire and ready to rock the night away.  Appetizers will be passed throughout the wine tasting period followed by dinner consisting of a carnivorous combo of steak and seafood.  There is no assigned seating so upon arrival they encourage guests to claim your dinner table.
