Red Wine & Chocolate.  The natural affinity between dark chocolate and red wine is no secret.  The Red Wine and Chocolate event weekend provides a distinctive and elegant offering of fine chocolate with fine wine.  Visit more than 40 wineries in the Yakima Valley Wine country during this Presidents’ Day weekend. Each winery pairs sumptuous chocolate desserts with their very own remarkable red wines.  As the oldest wine growing region in Washington state, wineries from Yakima, Zillah, Prosser and Red Mountain will be offering a weekend of divine decadence with the Premier Pass, the only way to experience the depth of the Yakima Valley during Red Wine & Chocolate weekend. Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard Tour & Hike (Red Mountain).   Meet the 2014 vintage in its infancy and follow it to harvest with guided walks through Terra Blanca’s estate vineyards.  The guided walk will showcase how grapes progress from vine to bottle.  Go behind-the-scenes to see the estate vineyard and learn about the barrel caves – the oldest and largest caves in Washington.  Tour content changes from season to season and groups are limited to 16 people per tour.  Tours cost $15, please call 509-588-6082 ext. 104 or email events@terrablanca.com for reservations.
