A world away from daily cares
...a getaway for all seasons

No matter what the season, once you experience the old-world charm and comfort of Haus Rohrbach Pension, chances are you won't want to leave.  "Pension" is not a word that translates directly to just one English word; the European term is often associated with small hotels or boarding houses and is used to suggest traditional hospitality...
a great word to describe the heart of Haus Rohrbach Pension.

It's not just the quiet of the "backyard" (the edge of Wenatchee National Forest) or the alpine-like views of the beautiful Leavenworth Valley from the deck that make a stay at Haus Rohrbach unforgettable.  The people of this Bavarian-styled 30-year-old Pension work overtime to bring guests a variety of seasonal activities.  Over the years, their efforts  have succeeded in transforming Haus Rohrbach into a true "pension," a traditional getaway spot for couples and families that can now remember experiences here from their youth... hiking, swimming, skiing, sledding and visiting the nearby Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, Washington.

Tucked up against the edge of the densely wooded Wenatchee National Forest boundary, on the sloping northwest reaches of the Leavenworth Valley, Haus Rohrbach Pension is known for its relaxed atmosphere and quiet mornings, interrupted only by the sound of birds claiming their share of this enchanted location.

Fill up your senses!  Drink in the sweeping, pastoral beauty of the Leavenworth Valley from your room or your suite's private balcony or from the main deck of the lodge.  Relax with a walk through the gardens and grounds. Top off your day with a cup of hot chocolate and one of Haus Rohrbach's tempting desserts.

All this and you are only a mile away from downtown Leavenworth, the popular Bavarian-themed town of North Central Washington State that is also home to 11 wine-tasting shops with eight wineries within a 15-minute drive.
