Oregon's oldest and best-stocked tasting room
-
From every Oregon viticultural
appellation, the diverse, year-round inventory of the Oregon Wine Tasting Room includes approximately 150 different wines from
70 different Oregon wineries. And if that's not enough to convince you to visit this
27-year-old institution, consider that most of the wineries represented at
the shop are either never open to the public, open only twice a year, or are located at
distances that make them difficult to visit. And not only that,
you can peruse a selection of deli sandwiches,
baked goods
from Piontek’s Breadworks, and gourmet snacks for your wine country
picnics.
The Oregon Wine Tasting Room is
the oldest tasting room in Oregon, and it stocks the most extensive selection of Oregon
wines you will find under one roof.
Managed from the very beginning by the
knowledgeable and friendly Patrick McElligott, the Oregon Wine Tasting Room can
be depended on to have between eight and 20 wines open for your tasting
pleasure. Open white wines are organized by dryness, while reds are offered in the
order of their body. Take advantage of Patrick's extensive wine wisdom, and ask for
recommendations or information.
